Patrick Damon, PhD, USN(RET), is a cybersecurity strategist, educator, and the founder of InfoStoat.
With over a decade of experience spanning military intelligence, research institutions, and nonprofit environments, Patrick specializes in gamified training, AI risk advisory, and compliance frameworks that don’t suck the soul out of the room.
Their work combines deep technical knowledge with storytelling, systems thinking, and a fierce commitment to accessibility and inclusion. A queer, neurodivergent Navy veteran, Patrick brings a lived understanding of what it means to navigate systems that weren’t built with everyone in mind. That insight drives their mission: to build cybersecurity systems that support people, not punish them.
When not demystifying NIST controls or leading workshops on disinformation resilience, Patrick can be found walking their dog, playing D&D, or quietly scheming new ways to make security training less painful and more powerful.
